On 17th June, a delegation consisting of JNUSU President Nitish along with AISA activists including AISA DU Secretary Anjali visited and extended solidarity to the students of CCS HAU who have been on a sit in protest for eight days against fee hike and cencellation of scholarships. Students of HAU faced brutal lathicharge by the the administration, police and even several teachers when they approached the administration with their demands. Since then, the movement has grown to encompass students, workers and farmers of Haryana.
At the public meeting held at HAU gate, JNUSU President comrade Nitish said, "the BJP government has unleashed a full blown attack on our education. Every campus including from JNU to FTII is churning with student movement against the fascist attack. We salute your courage and extend solidarity from the JNUSU."
AISA DU Secretary comrade Anjali said, "today being a student means to fight for the accessibility and quality of our education. Whole the state clamps down on dissent, voices from HAU are inspiring millions of students across the country."
The delegation ensured continued solidarity to the protesters and resolved to resonate the voice raised by students of CCS HAU.
