10 April 2026: The CPI-ML has strongly condemned the brutal beheading of a person in Araria and the killing of a 5-year-old child inside a school in Jehanabad, stating that these incidents expose the collapse of law and order and deep administrative failure in Bihar.
CPI-ML state secretary Kunal said that the Araria incident has shaken the entire society. The manner in which a person was murdered and beheaded shows that criminals are operating without fear of law. He said this reflects the complete inaction of the administration.
On the Jehanabad incident, he said that the killing of a 5-year-old child inside a school has shocked people across the state. A place meant for children’s safety and education has become a site of such a crime, raising serious questions about the security of children.
The party has demanded a high-level and impartial inquiry into both incidents. It has called for immediate arrest of those responsible and a speedy trial in a fast track court to ensure strict punishment.
CPI-ML has also demanded adequate compensation and justice for the affected families. It has urged the state government to take concrete and effective steps to restore law and order.
The party has warned that if the government fails to take serious action, it will launch statewide protests and intensify struggles on the streets to secure justice.
