Bihar Will Not Become Laboratory of Bulldozer Raj, CPIML Hits Out at BJP Power Grab

14 April 2026: The CPIML has strongly criticised the political developments following the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that Bihar is at a dangerous turning point where the popular mandate is being openly disregarded and the BJP is moving to capture power. The party said this is not a routine change of government but a direct attack on democracy.

CPIML state secretary Kunal said that the BJP is attempting to turn Bihar into a laboratory of bulldozer raj where arbitrary rule replaces law and repression replaces justice. He said that the people of Bihar will not accept such authoritarian designs.

He said that Bihar has a long history of resisting injustice, repression and reactionary politics. Time and again, the people have challenged and defeated such forces. He added that this is the same land where arrogance of power has repeatedly been confronted by popular struggles.

Calling for united resistance, he said that all democratic forces must come together with determination and courage to oppose the authoritarian policies of the BJP. He stressed that the struggle to defend democracy, the Constitution and people’s rights must be intensified.

The CPIML has asserted that the people of Bihar will not remain silent and will come out on the streets to defend their rights and defeat all such moves.
