Comrade G. Palani, former Puducherry State Committee Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation and State Vice-President of AICCTU, passed away on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, at 4:00 PM on the way to the hospital for cardiac arrest.
Comrade GP had been a spirited, dedicated and a disciplined party cadre throughout his party life. He was so warmth with comrades despite being so strict about observing party discipline. Wholly committed to the cause of the people. He had led several people’s struggles. He had been a source of inspiration to all of us. Heartfelt Condolences to his family, friends and all-party comrades in Puducherry.
