Condemn the Modi-RSS’s Attack on Internet Freedom Foundation, SFLC and Other Democratic Voices

CPI(ML) Liberation strongly condemns the Delhi Police notices directing X to take down the accounts and posts of the Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF), Software Freedom Law Centre (SFLC) and several other users for documenting and questioning government censorship orders. The Delhi Police notices target IFF, SFLC and other users for documenting and questioning government internet-blocking orders and exposing attempts by the RSS to silence criticism of censorship.

The mass-scale fascist takedowns across social media platforms reflect the Modi-RSS's growing fear of public scrutiny and its desperate attempts to silence every voice that questions its actions and demands transparency and accountability.

The second half of 2026 has witnessed an exponential rise in internet blockages, restrictions and social media takedowns, as the Modi-Shah regime intensifies its attempts to silence and erase voices questioning its anti-people and anti-democratic policies.

The CPI(ML) demands the immediate withdrawal of these notices. This systematic assault on freedom of expression and democratic dissent must be resisted.
