CPI(ML) Bihar State Secretary Kunal expressed deep grief and paid heartfelt tribute to poet Satyanarayan Sinha and noted playwright Satish Anand, both associated with the 1974 movement. He said their demise is an irreparable loss to the socialist stream and the world of art and culture.
In a statement on August 30, Comrade Kunal said both Satyanarayan Sinha and Satish Anand were deeply connected with social concerns and people-oriented ideas. Both actively participated in the JP movement and played an important role in the struggle for democratic values and social change.
He said Satyanarayan Sinha gave expression to questions concerning society and humanity through his poetry, while Satish Anand strengthened the voice of people's lives, social struggles and resistance through theatre and plays. Their creativity and social commitment will continue to inspire future generations.
The CPI(ML) State Secretary said the passing of such people-oriented creative figures and social activists is not merely a personal loss for their families and friends, but a loss for society as a whole, the democratic movement and the fields of art and culture.
He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families, comrades and well-wishers, and said that the memories of Satyanarayan Sinha and Satish Anand and their people-oriented legacy will remain alive forever.
